The Booking Page Builder is a visual, drag-and-drop editor that lets you customize the public pages your visitors see – your public home page (where all your events are listed) and any single booking page (the page for one specific event). No code is required. You drag blocks onto the canvas, edit their text and images inline, pick a theme, and publish.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Builder
From the admin top bar, click “Customize Booking Page”. A small menu opens with two choices:
- Public home page the page where all your events are listed.
- Specific event… customize a single booking page. Picking this opens a searchable list of your events; select one to edit its page.
The builder opens full-screen. (If your workspace plan does not include the Page Builder, you will be prompted to upgrade instead.)
Step 2: Understand the Canvas
The builder has three areas:
- Left sidebar three tabs: Blocks (the palette of widgets you can add), Outline (a tree of everything on the page), and Settings (the properties of the currently selected block).
- Center canvas a live preview of your page. One block in the middle is locked and cannot be moved or deleted: on the home page it is the Events list, and on a booking page it is the Booking Form. You add your own blocks in the area above and below this locked block.
- Top bar viewport switcher (Desktop / Tablet / Mobile), Templates, Theme, Brand color, Preview, and Publish.
Step 3: Add Blocks
Open the Blocks tab in the left sidebar. Drag any block from the palette onto the canvas, dropping it above or below the locked block. Blocks are grouped into:
- Content blocks Text (headings & body), Rich text, Image, Video, Testimonial, FAQ, Spacer.
- Highlights Hero (big intro section), Call to action (headline + button), Button.
- Layout Columns (side-by-side blocks), Card (bordered container), Divider (horizontal line).
Use the search box at the top of the palette to find a block by name. On mobile/tablet, tap the menu icon to open the blocks panel as a drawer, then drag onto the canvas.
Step 4: Edit a Block
Click any block on the canvas to select it. The sidebar automatically switches to the Settings tab, where you can edit that block’s content — text, font size, text color, images, links, and layout options. Each piece of text is styled individually (size and color per field), so you have fine control without affecting other blocks. Image fields let you upload a file (up to 500 KB) or paste a URL.
Step 5: Choose a Theme (Optional)
Click the Theme (palette) icon in the top bar to pick a preset look. Themes apply to your whole public site and set the background, surface, accent colors, font, and corner radius together. Available presets: Professional, Bold, Playful, Noir, Christmas, Ocean and Pure White.
Step 6: Set Your Brand Color (Optional)
Click the Brand color (droplet) icon to swap only the primary/brand color while keeping the rest of the active theme intact. Pick one of the curated swatches tuned to your theme, or enter a custom hex value with the color picker.
Step 7: Start From a Template (Optional)
Click the Templates (layout) icon, or “Browse templates” inside the Blocks tab, to start from a ready-made layout (e.g. Consultant, Event Organizer, Minimalist). Picking a template replaces your current blocks and theme with the template’s you can still edit everything afterward. A confirmation dialog appears before the swap is applied.
Step 8: Preview Across Devices
Use the viewport switcher in the center of the top bar to preview the page at Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile widths. Click the Preview (external-link) icon to open the live draft of your page in a new browser tab exactly as a visitor would see it. Previewing saves your draft first if you have unsaved changes.
Step 9: Save a Draft
Open the dropdown next to the Publish button and choose Save Draft to store your work without making it live. A status dot in the top bar shows the page state: gray = not published, amber (pulsing) = unsaved changes, green = published.
Step 10: Publish
Click Publish to make your changes live on your public page. Publishing copies your draft to the live page in one action and refreshes the public site so visitors immediately see the update.
Key Functionality
The builder edits two scopes independently. The home page customizes the area around your Events list — the page at your public profile URL. A booking page customizes the area around the Booking Form for one specific event. Per-event themes cascade over your workspace theme, so a custom-styled booking page keeps its own colors while the surrounding site uses the workspace defaults.
Every change is saved as a draft first and only goes live when you Publish so you can experiment freely without affecting visitors. Drafts and published versions are stored separately for both the page content and the theme.
Prerequisites
- Active Timetics AI account on a plan that includes the Page Builder
- At least one event/schedule created (to customize a single booking page)
Notes
- The Events list (home page) and Booking Form (booking page) are locked they always stay on the page and cannot be moved, deleted, or duplicated. You customize only the content above and below them.
- Themes affect your whole public site; the brand color swaps only the primary color within the active theme.
- Applying a template is a destructive replace of both your blocks and your theme, a confirmation dialog will warn you before it happens.
- The builder warns you before leaving if you have unsaved changes.
- Text styling is per field (each text element has its own size and color) rather than a single block-wide font setting.
