How to Integrate Facetime with Timetics AI

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Access Integrations

Navigate to Dashboard → Integrations section.

Step 2: Initiate Connection

Find the FaceTime option and select “Connect” beneath it.

Step 3: Generate a FaceTime Web Link

In a separate tab or on your Apple device, open the FaceTime app and choose “Create Link”. This generates a shareable web link in the form https://facetime.apple.com/join/… that allows guests to join the call from any modern browser, including non-Apple devices. Copy this link.

Step 4: Enter Your FaceTime Web Link

In the connection modal, paste the FaceTime Web Link into the “FaceTime Web Link” field, then click “Connect”. Timetics AI validates that the URL starts with https://facetime.apple.com/ and saves it against your workspace.

Step 5: Verify Connection

After the connection succeeds, select “Details” to confirm FaceTime is properly connected. You will see a status badge and the saved web link displayed for reference.

Step 6: Use FaceTime as a Meeting Location

When creating or editing an event in Calendar Setup, choose FaceTime as the meeting location. The form auto-populates with your saved web link, and you can override it per event if needed. There is also a “Display on booking page” toggle that controls whether the full URL or just a “Join” label is shown to guests on the booking page.

Step 7: Disconnect (Optional)

To remove the integration, open the Details view and click “Disconnect”. The web link will be removed from Timetics AI and any event using FaceTime as its location will have that location cleared.

Key Functionality

Once connected, your saved FaceTime Web Link is automatically attached to bookings whose event uses FaceTime as the meeting location. Booking confirmation and reminder emails include the link as a clickable button so guests can join the call directly from their inbox. Because FaceTime Web Links work in any modern browser, both Apple and non-Apple guests can join without needing the FaceTime app installed.

Prerequisites

  • Active Timetics AI account
  • An Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) capable of generating a FaceTime Web Link
  • A generated FaceTime Web Link from the FaceTime app

Notes

FaceTime in Timetics AI is a stored meeting-link integration, not an OAuth-based API connection — no Apple credentials are exchanged. Each workspace stores one default FaceTime Web Link, but individual events can override it with their own link. If your link expires or you want to use a different one, simply reconnect with a new URL or update it from the FaceTime location form on a specific event.
